PUBLIC NOTICE – ROAD CLOSURE

Wild Gravel 2026 – Stirling Range Drive & Red Gum Pass

The Shire of Gnowangerup advises that Stirling Range Drive will be temporarily closed to general through traffic to accommodate Wild Gravel 2026.

Closure commences: Friday 23 October 2026 at 5.00pm
Closure ends: Monday 26 October 2026 at 9.00am

Attending Wild Gravel? Access is still available!

Participants and spectators attending Wild Gravel on Saturday 24 October should travel via Chester Pass Road and turn onto Stirling Range Drive.

The Wild Gravel Event Village is located approximately 7 km along Stirling Range Drive.

Traffic management personnel will direct vehicles to designated roadside parking areas. Free shuttle buses will operate throughout the day, travelling along the parking areas on Stirling Range Drive to collect visitors and transport them to the Event Village.

Visitors can catch a shuttle from wherever they are directed to park along the designated parking route.

General motorists

Stirling Range Drive and Red Gum Pass Road will be closed to general through traffic. Motorists not attending the event are asked to use alternative routes and follow all traffic management signage.
