Rebuilt in 2003 the Borden Pavilion is a proud and well utilised community space, providing an outstanding venue for various social, sporting and corporate events throughout the year.
Borden Pavilion is located centrally within the Shire of Gnowangerup, just 30 kilometres from the Stirling Range National Park, making it one of the premier regional function venues in the Great Southern.
Facilities
- Main Hall: The hub of the Borden Pavilion is its large, multi-purpose main hall which is licensed to hold 400 people, with tables and seating for approximately 110. It is complete with sound-system and projector. The highly versatile space is suitable for events of all kinds, from larger scale conferences or music concerts, to smaller activities such as workshops and fitness classes. An undercover courtyard with bench seating and barbeque facilities adjoins the main hall.
- Meeting Room: The meeting room can seat up to 25 people and is ideal for smaller workshops and meetings.
- Kitchen: The full commercial kitchen would please any event caterer and is complete with large cool room and a spacious bar area.
- Sporting Facilities: The Borden Pavilion sporting complex consist of two multi-purpose courts, cricket practice nets, football and hockey ovals, as well as a recently refurbished bowling green.
