Registrations Open for Wild Gravel 2026

Registrations are now officially open for Wild Gravel 2026, with organisers unveiling an expanded program of rides, runs and new adventure events set against the spectacular backdrop of the Stirling Range.

Returning to Gnowangerup in 2026, Wild Gravel continues to build on its reputation as one of regional Western Australia’s premier gravel and endurance events, attracting participants from across the state and beyond.

The 2026 event program features something for everyone, from family-friendly walks and beginner gravel rides through to elite endurance races and the brand-new Untamed events designed to challenge even experienced participants.

Running events include

  • 5km walk,
  • 10km run or walk,
  • 11km untamed trail run
  • 21km untamed trail run
  • half marathon,
  • full marathon and
  • marathon relay options.

Organisers have introduced the new Untamed Trail Runs, offering rugged and demanding off-road courses across firebreaks, sandy terrain, rocky tracks and bushland surrounding the event village.

Riding events include

  • 10km,
  • 30km,
  • 65km,
  • 95km untamed
  • 100km and
  • 150km rides,

with the 100km and 150km events featuring both social ride and AusCycling-sanctioned elite race categories. New for 2026 is the Untamed 95km ride, delivering a tougher and more technical experience for riders seeking an added challenge.

Wild Gravel organisers said the event continues to grow because of its unique combination of community spirit, physical challenge and the incredible landscapes of the Great Southern region.

“Wild Gravel is about creating an experience that welcomes everyone, whether you’re chasing a personal challenge, racing competitively or simply wanting to be part of the atmosphere,” organisers said.

The event also relies heavily on volunteers, with community members encouraged to register their interest in roles including pit stop crews, course marshals, event village support, registrations, photography, videography and event set up.

Wild Gravel recently secured support through the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, helping the event continue growing as a major regional participation event that supports tourism, recreation and community development.

Early bird registrations are now available for a limited time.
