BUSH FIRES ACT 1954

PART 111 PREVENTION OF BUSH FIRES

SECTION 18 - RESTRICTED BURNING TIME (EXTENDED)

Pursuant to Section 18 of the Bush Fires Act 1954 the Shire of Gnowangerup advises that due to seasonal conditions it will be extending the Restricted Burning Period until further notice.

The extension of the Restricted Burning Period will commence on Wednesday, 31 May 2023, for the whole of the Shire, until further notice.

Please note: The Shire of Gnowangerup encourages landowners/occupiers carrying out any burning activities on their land, to please log their activities by calling DFES Communications on Ph: 08 9395 9209. This will assist with volunteer resources unnecessarily responding to private burns, mistaken as a reported fire.
