BUSH FIRES ACT 1954
PART Ill PREVENTION OF BUSH FIRES
SECTION S17 - PROHIBITED BURNING TIME (EXTENDED)
Pursuant to Section S17, subsection Bush Fires Act 1954 the Shire of Gnowangerup advises
due to seasonal conditions the Prohibited Burning Period has been extended for a further
14 days to 12th March 2025.
Note:
- The fuel load and soil dryness across the Shire is very dry and the risk to the community remains high.
