NOTICE – INSTALLATION OF TWO WATER FLOW METERING SYSTEMS

The Shire of Gnowangerup, with the assistance of the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation is installing two Water Flow Metering systems.

One will be located at the Stand Pipe Dam within the Gnowangerup Town Site and the other will be located at the Formby Bore Tank Site.

These units will be operational as of Monday 19 December 2022

Users will be required to obtain a FOB from the Shire Administration Office with a $20 refundable bond required.

These systems will allow site usage which is now required to be reported on an annual basis.

Private pumps should not be connected to the dam or tank unless it is a Fire Emergency.
