Notice is hereby given that the local government of the Shire of Gnowangerup has prepared the above mentioned planning scheme amendment for the purpose of:
Rezoning Lots 272 and 273 Quinn Street, Gnowangerup from the ‘Residential zone with a residential density code of R25’, to the ‘Residential zone with a residential density code of R35’.
Plans and documents setting out and explaining the scheme amendment have been deposited at 28 Yougenup Road Gnowangerup, WA 6335 and can also be viewed HERE
Submissions on the planning scheme amendment may be lodged in writing with the undersigned on or before the 3 September 2025 and should include the amendment number, the name and address of the person making the submission and details of the property affected.
To ensure concerns and aspirations are understood and considered, Shire Officers are available to explain the scheme amendment and to answer questions (Contact: Adrian Nicoll 0408 777 010 adrian.nicoll@gnowangerup.wa.gov.au). The Shire proposes to ensure that concerns and aspirations are directly reflected in a schedule of submissions, which is presented to the Shire Council and the Western Australian Planning Commission.
