Disability and Inclusion Access Plan (DAIP)
Community Feedback
The Shire of Gnowangerup is updating its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) and is inviting the community to help shape the next plan.
A DAIP is an important document that guides how the Shire improves access and inclusion for people with disability. It helps identify practical ways to make buildings, services, events, information and employment opportunities more accessible for everyone.
Whether you have a disability, care for someone who does, work in the disability sector or simply have ideas about how accessibility could be improved, your feedback is encouraged.
What does the DAIP cover?
The Disability Access and Inclusion Plan focuses on seven key outcomes:
Events and services
People with disability have the same opportunities as everyone else to access Shire services and events.
