Public Notice of Intention to Borrow

Notice is hereby given of the Shire of Gnowangerup’s intention to borrow funds.
At its Ordinary Council Meeting held on 28th April 2021 the Council resolved by absolute majority, to borrow up to $340,000.00 for the purpose of providing the Ongerup Community Development Inc. housing project with a short-term loan for cash flow purposes. The loan is to be for a period of 6 months and facilitated by the WA Treasury Corporation.
Pursuant to section 6.20(2) of the Local Government Act 1995, one month’s public notice of this proposal is hereby given.
