Wild Gravel 2026 Registrations Open as Community Support Builds

Registrations are now open for Wild Gravel 2026, with organisers inviting participants, volunteers, sponsors and vendors to be part of one of regional Western Australia's fastest-growing cycling and running events.

Returning to the Stirling Range on Saturday 24 October 2026, Wild Gravel offers a wide range of cycling, running and walking events designed to cater for everyone from first-time participants and families through to elite endurance athletes. Set against the spectacular backdrop of Koi Kyeunu-ruff (Stirling Range), the event continues to showcase the natural beauty, culture and hospitality of the Gnowangerup region while attracting visitors from across Western Australia and beyond.

The event has already received strong backing from government and industry partners. The Shire of Gnowangerup acknowledges the support of the WA Government through Events Funding, Tourism WA and Royalties for Regions, along with the Great Southern Development Commission. Their support is helping Wild Gravel continue to grow as a significant regional event that delivers tourism, economic and community benefits.

Wild Gravel also thanks its sponsors who have already committed their support for 2026, including Headline Sponsor AFGRI Equipment, Major Sponsor Roast and Brew, CSBP, Southern Ports, Moore Australia, Delta Ag, Nutrien and Lincolns Accountants.

While the event is coordinated by the Shire of Gnowangerup, its success relies heavily on community involvement. More than 80 volunteers helped deliver the event in 2025, contributing to everything from pit stops and course marshalling through to registration, parking, event village operations and participant support.

Building local skills, capacity and community ownership remains a key focus of Wild Gravel. Organisers are committed to ensuring the event remains sustainable and continues to grow for many years to come, creating opportunities for local businesses, community groups and volunteers to be involved.

Whether participating, volunteering, sponsoring or supporting from the sidelines, there are plenty of ways for the community to be involved.
