PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
WORKFORCE ACCOMMODATION
459 HINKLEY ROAD (LOT 4346), GNOWANGERUP
The Shire of Gnowangerup received an application involving the development of Workforce Accommodation cabins at 459 Hinkley Road (Lot 4346). Workforce Accommodation means premises, which may include modular and relocated buildings used -
- primarily for the accommodation of workers engaged in construction, resource, agricultural or other industries on a temporary basis; and
- for any associated catering, sporting and recreation facilities for the occupants and authorised visitors.
The proposed Workforce Accommodation includes the installation of twenty (20) prefabricated modular cabins to support: Seasonal agricultural workforce; Shearing and stock management teams; Mechanical and machinery servicing crews; Contract-road maintenance personnel; Renewable energy installation teams; and Construction and infrastructure contractors operating within the district.

The Shire invites neighbouring landholders and members of the public to provide written comments on the proposed development. Comments received will be presented to the Council for consideration.
