Ongerup Refuse Site – Opening Hours Change
Please note that the opening hours have now been changed to align with the other waste facilities and will be effective immediately.
The opening times will be:

To assist the public, the shire has recently installed new signage that designates the different tipping areas so you can separate your waste and tip in the correct locations. This will ensure the good work to date by the community doing the right thing with disposal practices will keep the tip open into the future.
Please note that the refuse site cannot take certain items which are listed on the front gate at all the Shire Refuse sites as part of our legal requirements to operate this service for the community.
We are also developing a new strategic waste management plan over the next few months which will provide direction in meeting our statutory requirements and to maintain these facilities in a sustainable way for the future.
