GENERAL HAND/PLANT OPERATOR
The Shire of Gnowangerup is seeking a motivated and diligent General Hand/Plant Operator to join our Infrastructure and Assets team. This hands‑on role is responsible for supporting the delivery of operational, maintenance, and construction activities across the Shire's infrastructure and community assets.

About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Labouring, maintenance, and operational tasks across the Shire’s road network, drainage systems, parks and gardens, waste facilities, and community infrastructure
- Assisting with road maintenance and construction activities including patching, grading support, gravel works, drainage installation, signage, and vegetation control
- Assisting with traffic management and worksite setup in accordance with relevant requirements and procedures (if holding relevant qualifications)
- Carrying out general maintenance, cleaning, rubbish collection, and depot duties as required
- Assisting with maintenance and upkeep of Shire buildings, facilities, reserves, and public open spaces

Employees may be required to undertake a Medical Examination prior to commencement of employment. A purchase order will be issued ahead of such Medical Examination. All employees are required to provide a Police Clearance that is no older than three months. The cost of obtaining a Police Clearance will be reimbursed by the Shire upon provision of receipt.
