Gnowangerup Early Years Expo to Support Local Families from Bump to Preschool
Families across Gnowangerup and the wider Great Southern region are invited to attend the Early Years Expo on Monday, 11 May 2026, a free community event during National Families Week, designed to support children in their most important early years of development.
Proudly supported by the Early Years Partnership, the Expo will bring together a range of local services, health providers, educators, and community organisations, offering practical information, resources, and connections for expectant parents and families with children aged 0–4 years.
Attendees can enjoy a welcoming, family-friendly environment with morning tea and lunch provided, along with giveaway bags and prizes on the day.
Expressions of Interest Now Open
The Shire is currently calling for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from:
- Exhibitors (health services, early years providers, community organisations)
- Guest speakers and facilitators across topics such as parenting, child development, nutrition, and wellbeing (paid role)
There is also an opportunity for selected organisations to be involved in a follow-up 6-week outreach program, extending the impact of the Expo and providing ongoing support to local families.
This is a valuable opportunity for organisations to:
- Connect directly with families in the region
- Share services and expertise
- Build long-term community engagement
An Inclusive Community Event
Expectant mothers, parents, carers, and families with young children are encouraged to attend. The event is open to people of all backgrounds, with a strong focus on inclusivity, connection, and community wellbeing.
