Job Vacancy - Plant Operator/General Hand

The Shire of Gnowangerup is looking for a self-motivated person to take on the role of Plant Operator/General Hand with the construction/maintenance crew.
The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Manager of Works/Construction Leading Hand, have experience in the road construction industry, able to operate general road construction plant and hold a HC license. They will be required to assist with the delivery of all road construction and maintenance programs including, transporting materials, bitumen patching, drainage construction, footpaths and kerbing, verge mowing and other duties involving manual labour.
The position is full time (84 hours per fortnight) permanent position with fortnightly rostered day off. Conditions and wages will be in accordance with the Shire of Gnowangerup (Operational Works Crew) Enterprise Agreement.
