Situated in Western Australia’s great southern region, the Shire of Gnowangerup is an inclusive, progressive and prosperous community. With exciting developments on the horizon, Council is seeking to appoint an innovative and motivated leader to work with Council and the community to build on the existing solid foundations.
The Shire of Gnowangerup are currently searching for a Chief Executive Officer to lead their community. As the CEO, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Shire and working collaboratively with Council to deliver the Shire’s strategic direction. The successful applicant will have a passion for living and working in an agricultural community and manufacturing hub and will be committed to the sustainable long-term growth of the organisation. You will also have a proven track record of being a confident leader who is dedicated to representing the interests of the Council and community, is politically astute and have strategic business acumen encompassing contemporary management practices.
This position is offered under a three-to-five-year performance-based contract, with an attractive remuneration package, to be negotiated with the successful applicant, of between $131,423 to $206,141 per annum (in accordance with SAT Band 4). Salary and benefits are subject to negotiation and may include, but not be limited to, a base salary, superannuation, executive home, motor vehicle, professional development allowance and water allowance.
