The Community Water Supply Program is a State Government initiative administered by the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) to assist broad-acre farming communities to establish or improve non-potable water supplies to reduce reliance on potable water supplies for non-potable needs, increase public amenity, ensure water is available for emergencies and to be better prepared for periods of low rainfall.
Funding is available for local government authorities and community groups that are incorporated bodies.
