Our Organisation aims to continually provide quality, low cost rental housing options for our community's aged persons.

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to assist our community's aged persons to reside independently near family and friends by providing quality, well maintained, low cost rental housing in pleasant surroundings.

The Gnowangerup Homes for the Aged (GHFTA) units are located on Denny and Aylmore Streets, Gnowangerup and are in close proximity to local amenities including Medical Services (Hospital, Surgery, Pharmacy and Community Health), Public Services (Shire Administration Office, Post Office and Library), a Telecentre, Schools, Banks, Food and Hardware retailers and Sporting Facilities. The Aged in our community are also supported by a local Home and Community Care Service and Meals on Wheels.

The Organisation operates under the auspice of the Shire of Gnowangerup and is managed by a Committee of ten members who individually represent local community groups and organisations. There are currently four single bedroom units and two double bedroom units; the Organisation aims to increase it two bedroom units and is currently working towards this aim.
