The towns of Gnowangerup, Ongerup and Borden are vibrant active communities who like to be involved in local issues, school projects, sporting activities and cultural events, and are very family orientated.

The three communities are constantly working together to improve the quality of life for all our residents and volunteer their time generously to ensure the essential services of ambulance, State Emergency Service and Bush Fire Services.

Sports thrive in all towns offering a wide range of sporting activities to choose from and there are many cultural and arts activities to be involved with for those who are not the sporting type.
